Dabney Berne specializes in large acreage land sales and acquisition throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. His primary focus is on real estate investment and development, land banking, timber investments, as well as sales of large recreational tracts and farms. Mr. Berne has extensive contacts throughout the Southeast consisting of foresters, real estate developers, timber investors, and large private land holders, which he employs in recreational property, equestrian developments, and timber investments.
Dabney grew up in Lumberton, North Carolina, and spent his summers on Bald Head Island, NC. After attending East Carolina University, Dabney went into the restaurant business. He worked for several large restaurant companies and eventually opened his own restaurant in 1995. After selling his business in 2000, Dabney obtained his real estate license and has been in the land business for the past ten years.
Dabney enjoys spending time with his son, Zach, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and training Labrador Retrievers.
